«BE SO GENIOUS», History of a platform

In 2006, after his training as an IT works engineer at the African Institute of Computer Science, Rodrigue SOH KAMLA obtained a Central Africa scholarship through a competition (Euro Graduation Access) to continue his studies in France. With the organizers of the competition and the French Embassy in Cameroon, he has a commitment on the honor to put what he will have learned in France at the service of the development of Africa. Passionate about Business Intelligence and datamining, he then imagines an ecosystem in which skills in Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence would have a lasting impact on the development of Africa, with concrete illustrations in a specific industry. He considers this objective to be «to BE SO GENIOUS». He finds a code name for the project allowing to achieve it: BISSOGENIOUS.  In 2014 he created BISSOGENIOUS FRANCE, a company with which he teaches Business Intelligence and ensures expert missions. Since this year, he has been providing training in France at engineering schools and specialized training centers using the case studies of publishers such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, and Qlik. The ratings of participants in continuing education are all between SATISFIED and EXCELLENT.

In 2022, he is part of the BUSINESS FRANCE delegation for the international exhibition PROMOTE by presenting the expertise in decision-making intelligence at the FRANCE pavilion. This experience allows him to take into account the specificities of local companies of different sizes.

In 2023, still with BUSINESS FRANCE, he participates in the French EdTech and HRTech Tour Afrique in Côte d'Ivoire and exchanges with local companies are valuable for him in preparing the current platform.

BISSOGENIOUS CÔTE D'IVOIRE was created in July 2024 with the aim of launching the BESOGENIOUS.COM platform with the expertise of BISSOGENIOUS France and a scientific committee.

Olivier cumulates 46 years of experience in the service of improving business performance. Chartered accountant, he worked as an auditor, financial controller, director of management control, administrative and accounting director, administrative and financial director, associate director. He has performed these functions for companies with several tens to several thousand employees and/or with a turnover between several million and several billion Euros.

His career began with the PiceWaterHouseCoopers (PwC) firm, which has allowed him to support companies of different sizes over nearly half a century, from startups and family-owned companies to internationally listed companies.

He was thus able to contribute to performance improvements for multiple companies. Olivier’s experience is a valuable asset both for the BE SO GENIOUS platform in general and for the BE SOGENIOUS AFRICA PROJECT.

Rodrigue SOH KAMLA

Founder and Course Manager

Consultant and trainer in decision intelligence for about fifteen years, Rodrigue SOH KAMLA holds an engineering degree from the Institute of Computer Engineering of Limoges and a Specialized Master’s from ESSEC Business School Paris. He also completed a training in artificial intelligence at the University of Paris Dauphine and MIT.

His career in data and AI starts with a successful integration within the SAP Business Intelligence research teams, which earns him a recommendation from the director of SAP Labs France. Since 2014, Rodrigue has provided training for engineering schools and professionals in several of the largest specialized data and AI training centers in the Paris region. The ratings of the professional participants are all between SATISFIED and EXCELLENT.

In 16 years, Rodrigue has implemented decision-making intelligence by occupying different positions (R&D Engineer, Developer, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Trainer, Data Architect), for companies of different sizes (CAC 40, Startup,...), in different sectors (Finance, transport, Energy, e-commerce, ...)

Régis KPOSSA

Marketing Prime

Professor-researcher in Marketing for nearly fifteen years, Régis KPOSSA holds a Doctorate in Marketing from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Marketing specialty. His research focuses on sensory marketing of the product and the point of sale, brand image, sustainable development and emerging consumer behaviors.

His numerous works have been published in prestigious national and international journals such as the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Gestion 2000, Management & Avenir, Journal of Marketing Analytics, the Interdisciplinary Review Management Homme & Entreprise, Life and Business Sciences ... .etc.

He is currently Associate Professor at the Ecole Superieure du Commerce Extérieur and teaches courses in Marketing, Market Research, Distribution and CSR. 

He is a member of the scientific committee of the BE SO GENIOUS platform and the BE SOGENIOUS AFRICA PROJECT.
